Since having grandchildren, I realized how much I enjoyed creating chic and playful clothes for kids. So after years of sewing for family and friends, I started my own clothing boutique shop called Peekaboo Posies.
I specialize in clothing styles for infants up through toddler ages up to size 5. Many outfits have matching accessories such as hats, bloomers, or purses. Brother-sister coordinating outfits are also available. For special occasions as baptisms, birthdays, or holidays, you may contact me for more specific selections in clothing for your child.
I like working with natural fibers so most of the fabrics in my fabric swatch gallery are 100% cotton. When constructing the garments, I use high quality materials and find that french seams not only make the inside of the garment look nicer but wear longer.
When you are making your selections, be sure to check the size chart, options of different fabrics from the fabric gallery, and available accessories. For hats, you may want to measure the circumference of your child's head for a better fit. Have fun shopping!
I so enjoy creating unique and classy pieces of children’s clothing. I like to work with natural 100% cotton fabrics and hand select fabrics of high quality. I love clothes that have that vintage feeling so some fabrics are retro or reproductions of fabric. When constructing the garments, special care is taken that allow the garment to last longer as French seams, hand stitching and double stitched crotches are applied. I like the total ensemble look, so I include not just a dress or a jumper but matching jackets, pants and even hats, purses, and a dress for your daughter’s favorite doll. You can pick from a variety of hats such as a sunhat, French beret or baseball cap. Different little girl’s purses and even matching diaper covers are included. These matching sets can go casual or dressy -- why change a whole outfit if you can change just one piece of the ensemble. This can give your little girl a truly organized wardrobe collection. These are qualities that are hard to find in any clothing store.
